The thin saw blade can be skillfully maneuvered through workpieces with a maximum height of 50mm, allowing for the creation of intricate and rounded shapes.
Operating at 1,700 revolutions per minute, the SD1600V is one of the fastest scroll saws available, ensuring efficient work. At lower stroke speeds, which result in slower cuts, there might be instances where visibility is obstructed by chips that are not completely removed from the cutting surface. This is where the blower comes into play. With a flexible blower nozzle, you always have a clear view of your workspace, as chips and dust are immediately removed as they accumulate.
The quick-release system makes blade replacement a breeze. The blade holder accommodates blades with or without pins, measuring 134mm in length, and even accommodates round blades. For any unused blades, the SD1600V features a practical built-in storage compartment. A conveniently located dial enables the adjustment of the stroke speed from 500 to 1700 min-1, providing individual blade speeds for improved results.
The table's angle can be precisely adjusted using an angle gauge on the underside, offering tilt options up to +45°. This allows for not only straight and circular cuts in wood, plastic, metal, gypsum, or Plexiglas but also custom angles. The tool holder ensures easy and secure workpiece guidance, and the built-in LED lamp provides excellent visibility of your work area.
