The DHY28KSE is one of the most popular diesel generators int he Hyundai range, capable of providing both standby / backup power and for use as a prime power supply. Bult from the highest quality components, it's powered by a water-cooled 4 cylinder HY4100 diesel engine, which produces a maximum power output of 28kVA.
When Refurbished as standby power solution, the DHY28KSE is capable of powering both homes and businesses during a power cut. This generator can save wasted nights spent in darkness, or even protect your income by keeping your business operating.
The slow running 1500rpm engine is stressed significantly less than faster engines during use, which makes it ideal for daily use.
The combination of impressive fuel efficiency and the option of running it on red diesel means this diesel generator also provides low running costs.
In the home and office you can safely power sensitive electronic appliances, such as PCs, TVs, laptops and more as the AVR alternator produces a clean power output.
It's built within a sound attenuated canopy, which lowers the noise produced to just 68dB at 7 metres. This canopy also provides the generator with protection from the elements.
It's also equipped with a digital control panel that makes it easy to monitor the performance of the generator, including the run time, voltage and frequency.
It's equipped with 3x 230V / 32A sockets and a busbar.
It can also be configured to work with an Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), which will detect a loss of power from the mains, turn the generator on, and then turn it off again when power from the mains returns. ATS system sold separately.
3 Phase 400/230v generators are generally manufactured to power 400 volt 3 Phase equipment. Even though you can run a small amount of 230v on a solo basis from them, this is not their intended purpose and it can be difficult to 'balance' the phases and stop the generator from tripping out. In order to run 230v output only, and reach the generator's output capacity you will need to accurately 'balance' the loads on each phase (the amount you are drawing from each phase of electricity).
