The Hyundai HYM20200SPEX adds electric start to the capable 20" / 51cm platform. Press a button, the engine fires, and you’re mowing. If the battery runs flat, the recoil backup is still there and the battery can be recharged with the charger supplied.
This is the same 196cc / 5.5hp engine and self-propelled drive as the HYM20200SPX, with the added convenience of push-button starting. For gardeners who value ease of use alongside cutting performance, this model delivers both.
The electric start system uses a rechargeable battery and onboard starter motor. Press the button, the engine turns over, and you’re away. No pulling, no effort, no fuss. The recoil start remains as a backup.
The 196cc engine produces 5.5hp / 4.1kW. That’s enough to push through thick grass, longer growth periods, and denser lawn varieties without losing blade speed. A turbo fan system improves grass collection, and the deck includes a cleaning hose attachment for easy removal of clippings after mowing.
Rear-wheel drive takes the strain out of pushing. On larger lawns or gentle slopes, you’ll appreciate not having to provide all the forward momentum yourself.
