The HY2196 is a cordless, battery-powered lawn scarifier and rake from the Hyundai 20V MAX range. The HY2196’s large working width of 380mm (60mm wider than that of competitive models) will aerate, scarify, and rake your lawn and ground in no time, improving your grass drainage and lawn growth while also protecting it from waterlogging and disease.
The HY2196 cordless scarifier is driven by Hyundai’s powerful advanced brushless technology, resulting in longer runtime, more power and longer life through its frictionless motor. This scarifier will run for approximatley 40mins.
With two 2x 20v, 4.0Ah batteries working simultaneously to provide a mighty 40v, the HY2196 packs plenty of power to get the job done quickly and effectively. Being cordless, it provides unparalleled mobility and access to hard-to-reach places where mains power is not available. The dual port charger allows fast charging of the two batteries.
Weighing just 11.91kg (inc. batteries), the HY2196's robust front (200mm) and back (150mm) wheels make this Hyundai cordless scarifier particularly easy and comfortable to push around your garden, and the specially designed wide tread helps protect your lawn from damage while using the scarifier. It also has foldable handles for easy, compact storage in your garage or shed.
This lawn scarifier has 5 adjustable heights ranging from -12mm to +6mm, controlled simply by one adjustment dial, putting you in control of the finish of your lawn and ensuring that all moss, thatch, and weeds are removed from the root. The HY2196 also comes with a rake function.
With its large 45L grass collector box (nearly twice the size of competitive models), collecting weeds and moss as you go means no mess to clear up, getting the job done as quickly as possible.
