You guide the mower; the engine does the pushing. That makes a real difference halfway through a larger lawn, or when tackling a gentle slope.
This model also gives you options for what happens to the grass after it's cut. Collect it in the 40L bag. Discharge it out the rear or side. Or mulch it back into the lawn to feed the soil. Four cutting modes mean you can adapt to conditions rather than sticking with one approach all season.
The self-propelled drive engages the rear wheels, pulling the mower forward at a steady pace. You just steer. This reduces fatigue on larger lawns and makes gentle inclines much easier to handle than with a hand-push machine.
