Payment Options

We offer flexible ways to pay at checkout, including Clearpay, Klarna, PayPal Credit, Shop Pay, iwocaPay for trade customers, and secure card payments processed by Stripe. All payment methods are subject to eligibility, status, provider terms, and availability at checkout. Please review the information below before choosing a payment option.

Clearpay

Clearpay offers eligible customers the option to pay in 4 interest-free instalments over 6 weeks, with payments typically due every 2 weeks, subject to eligibility and provider terms. Clearpay states that this is a form of unregulated credit in the UK and that late fees may apply if scheduled payments are missed.

How Clearpay works

  • Add your items to basket
  • Choose Clearpay at checkout
  • Log in to or create your Clearpay account
  • Complete your purchase
  • Manage your payments in the Clearpay app or online account

Clearpay also notes that customers should use the service responsibly and make sure they can meet repayments on time.

Klarna

Klarna offers flexible payment options at checkout, including Pay in 3 and Pay in 30 days, subject to eligibility and provider terms. Klarna states that Pay in 3 lets eligible customers split their purchase into 3 interest-free instalments, while Pay in 30 days allows eligible customers to receive their order first and pay up to 30 days later, interest-free if paid on time. Klarna also notes that Pay in 3 and Pay in 30 days are unregulated credit agreements in the UK.

How Klarna works

  • Add your items to basket
  • Choose Klarna at checkout
  • Select your preferred Klarna payment option
  • Manage your payments in the Klarna app or online account

Klarna also notes that late payment or borrowing more than you can afford may affect your financial status and ability to obtain credit.

PayPal Credit

PayPal Credit lets eligible customers spread the cost of purchases over time. PayPal currently states that customers can receive 0% interest for 4 months on purchases of £99 or more, subject to terms and eligibility. To keep the promotional offer, customers must make at least the minimum monthly payment during the offer period. Any remaining balance after the offer period, or purchases under £99, will be charged at the standard variable rate. PayPal currently shows a representative example of 23.9% APR (variable).

How PayPal Credit works

  • Add your items to basket
  • Choose PayPal at checkout
  • Select PayPal Credit, if available
  • Complete the application, if required
  • If approved, continue checkout

PayPal says eligible customers can often receive an instant decision and use PayPal Credit right away if approved.

iwocaPay (trade customers)

iwocaPay lets eligible business customers spread the cost of an order. It is provided by iwoca and is available to UK-registered limited companies and LLPs on orders from £150 to £30,000, subject to eligibility, status, and provider terms. iwoca states that setting up a spending limit uses a soft credit check that does not affect your credit score, and that decisions are usually given within minutes. iwocaPay is business finance and is not available to consumers.

How iwocaPay works

  • Set up an iwocaPay spending limit for your business
  • Complete the short online application
  • If approved, add your items to basket and check out
  • Choose Pay Now or Pay Later at the iwocaPay checkout
  • Manage your payments in your iwoca account or by calling iwoca on 020 3778 0549

iwoca states that Pay Now settles the invoice straight from your bank account, and that Pay Later spreads the cost over 1, 3 or 12 monthly payments. Pay in 30 days and Pay in 3 are interest-free. Pay in 12 is subject to interest at a rate based on your business. iwoca also states that you can settle early at any time at no extra cost, and that it collects the minimum monthly payment automatically from the card you register.

Returns and disputes on iwocaPay orders

iwoca states that it does not offer dispute resolution or chargebacks, and that you should keep to your iwocaPay repayment schedule even while you are expecting a refund. Raise any order query, return or refund with us directly and we will deal with it under our returns and refunds policy. Read more on our iwocaPay for trade customers page.

Shop Pay

Shop Pay is a fast checkout option that allows customers to save their email address, payment details, and shipping and billing information for faster checkout on participating Shopify stores. Shopify states that this helps make future purchases quicker and more convenient.

How Shop Pay works

  • Add your items to basket
  • Choose Shop Pay at checkout
  • Enter your email address and verification code if prompted
  • Complete your order using your saved or new payment details

Customers can manage their saved details through Shop Pay or the Shop app.

Card Payments Processed by Stripe

We use Stripe to process card payments securely at checkout. Stripe supports online card payments and may require additional authentication, such as 3D Secure, for certain transactions to help prevent fraud and meet security requirements. Stripe states that 3D Secure helps verify that the person making a purchase is the legitimate cardholder and is a key method used to meet Strong Customer Authentication requirements in Europe.

Security and protection

Where card payments are processed by Stripe, the purchase contract remains between you and us as the retailer. We remain responsible for the goods or services purchased, including delivery, returns, refunds, and customer support.

Responsible borrowing

Please spend responsibly. Borrowing more than you can afford may negatively affect your financial status and ability to obtain credit. Always make sure you can afford repayments on time. Clearpay, Klarna, and PayPal all make clear that finance and deferred payment options are subject to terms and should be used responsibly.

Legal and provider notices

Payment options are provided by third-party payment and finance providers and are subject to eligibility checks, status, provider terms and conditions, and availability at checkout. Clearpay, Klarna, PayPal, Shopify, Stripe, and iwoca may update their products, terms, and offers over time, so customers should review the latest provider information before completing a purchase.
