The Hyundai HYMMA-160 is a highly portable MMA ARC welder suitable for many fabrication and maintenance welding jobs.

Capable of welding multiple metals, a strong 35% duty cycle at maximum output and the ability to run from inverters or generators, this manual metal arc welder is a versatile all-rounder great for mechanics, farmers, mobile technicians and the domestic user.

The HYMMA-160 arc welder features a stepless regulator for variable control of the welding current.

This allows you to adjust the output current from 10 to 160 amps making the inverter welder capable of welding steel, stainless steel, copper, nickel, titanium and their alloys.
The HYMMA-160 also has a low current facility for effective welding of thinner materials.

With a 35% duty cycle, the Hyundai welding machine can be used for three and a half minutes in every 10 minutes at the maximum 160 amps setting it apart from cheaper, lower quality stick welding equipment, which have much lower duty cycle outputs and do not offer the best value for money.

Duty cycles for the Hyundai welder range

The HYMMA-160 benefits from a built in hot start feature, which produces ideal boost to the output voltage to ease electronic arc ignition and an anti-stick device, which will switch off the welding power source if the welding electrode sticks to the material being welded. This prevents overloading the unit and easy removal of the electrode.

Built in thermal overload protection prevents dangerous overheating and ensures maximum durability.

The lightweight 6Kg welder is housed in a powder coated pressed steel case to help prevent damage from knocks and bangs and offers increased corrosion resistance.
The adjustable carrying harness makes transporting the welder simple and easy.
