The HYHT40LI is a powerful and low maintenance lithium-ion battery-powered hedge trimmer from Hyundai. It is extremely quiet running, eliminating any disturbance to family and neighbours.
The HYHT40LI is the ideal battery-powered hedge trimmer for pruning bushes, trimming hedges and cutting branches and twigs around your garden.
Powered by a 2.5Ah 40v Lithium-ion battery, the HYHT40LI’s brushless motor offers similar performance to small petrol hedge trimmers, and will effortlessly handle all types of shrubs and hedgerows in your garden.
It even has an indicator light allowing you to see exactly how much life is left. Both the battery and charger are included with this hedge trimmer.
With a charging time of just 80 minutes per battery (you can also purchase an optional additional charger to save time) and a battery lifespan of 1000+ charges, the HYHT40Li will provide an average trimming time of up to 40 minutes, depending on the operating conditions.
Run Time - 20-40 mins
Its laser-cut steel hardened 520mm cutting blade, with its cutting teeth spaced out in 23mm intervals, will trim back any garden overgrowth in no time, providing a precise cut each and every time.
The rear handle can be rotated through 180 degrees left or right so you can manage the hedge trimmer comfortably when working at different angles. This is especially handy for switching between cutting the sides and the tops of hedges.
The HYHT40LI is simple and safe to use, with its conveniently positioned controls and a handy cut-out switch all within easy reach.
For extra safety, this hedge trimmer has wall guard tip protection, which stops blade impacts when working close against a wall or fence. This protects you from any kickback and also protects the hedge trimmer blade’s teeth.
Lithium-ion battery technology is now so advanced that cordless machines are a real alternative to petrol.
The main advantages of battery-powered hedge trimmers over petrol-engine hedge trimmers are that there is no having to refill the machine with petrol or having to pop to the petrol station when low on fuel, no 2-stroke oil to mix with the petrol, low noise levels and no pull starting issues – simply charge the battery and get started in your garden.
Compared to an electric hedge trimmer, there’s no cable to cut through or trip over and you are not restricted by the length of the lead.
