SMALL AND MIGHTY
The Hyundai HY25-2 is a small water pump designed for the transfer of clean or fresh water such as ponds, pools and flooded areas .
The pump has been designed to be small and easily portable but still be very capable of moving volumes of water making it ideal for domestic and light commercial use.
RELIABLE HYUNDAI POWER
The Hyundai 50cc 2 stroke engine is capable of 113 litres a minute of water transfer through it’s 1” (25mm) inlet and outlet ports, and has a suction lift of 8 meters, meaning it can lift water vertically 8 meters before discharging.
This gives the clean water pump and maximum head of 25-30 meters, making it great value for money.
The Hyundai water pump engine and frame are mounted on anti vibration feet to reduce movement during use and is housed in a sturdy frame to protect the pump from knocks and bumps and incorporates a convenient carry handle for maximum portability.
Weighing in at only 10.8Kgs the HY25-2 is easy to transport and store.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. How long will it run on a full tank of fuel/oil mix?
A. The new 50.8cc engine found on the HY40-2 will run for an hour on 800ml of fuel.
Q. How easy is it to start?
A. The 50.8cc engine has a soft recoil start function that makes it very easy to pull start.
Q. How much power does the engine produce?
A. The new 50.8cc engine produces 1800w of power with increased mid range torque.
Q. What is the recommended fuel/oil ratio?
A. For the first time ONLY, a mixing ratio of 25:1 should be used to lubricate all engine parts to an optimum level. Thereafter the mix is 40:1. Be sure to only use fresh unleaded fuel and 2-stroke engine oil mixture
Q. You mention that this machine is EURO 2 compliant. What does this mean?
A. EURO 2 is the current standard for garden machinery engine exhaust emissions, and all garden machinery should be manufactured to this standard, if sold within the UK and Europe. Many cheap 2-stroke machines are only EURO 1 compliant. There is an additional cost to manufacture a EURO 2 compliant engine as they require a three way catalyst in the exhaust silencer, though visually they will look the same. Most EURO 1 engines only have the normal catalyst which cannot pass EURO 2 standards and many of the cheaper circa 52cc machines on the UK market are not EURO 2 compliant. The 50.8cc engine is EURO 2 compliant for semi-professional use.
