Artificial grass builds up debris, pine needles, moss, and general garden waste throughout the year — and a stiff brush or leaf blower only goes so far. The Hyundai HY40CSW38 is a 40V cordless sweeper with a 128mm rotary brush that lifts and collects material from artificial turf across a 38cm / 15" working width. Five height settings from -12mm to +6mm let you adjust brush contact for different pile depths and conditions, while the 45-litre collection bag catches the material as you work. The brushless motor runs at 3,000 RPM and is powered by two 20V batteries — no cable, no fumes, and no bending down to gather debris by hand.
Clean Artificial Grass Without Damaging the Pile
Stiff manual brushes and pressure washers risk pulling the backing or flattening the pile over time. The HY40CSW38's rotary brush is designed to agitate and lift surface debris without damaging the turf. Five height settings let you control brush contact precisely to match the pile depth of your particular installation.

No, provided you use the correct height setting for your turf pile depth. The rotary brush is designed to agitate and collect debris without pulling at the turf backing. Start at the highest height setting and lower gradually until you find the right contact level for your installation.
Can it remove moss from artificial grass?
Yes. The rotary brush dislodges surface moss and collects it in the 45-litre bag. For heavier moss growth that has attached firmly to the pile, a light treatment with a diluted moss killer applied a few days before sweeping will improve results.
How often should artificial the grass be swept?
Frequency depends on how much debris your garden produces. In a garden with deciduous trees, sweeping once a week in autumn and once every two to four weeks at other times of year is generally sufficient to keep the surface clear.
Is the collection bag easy to empty?
Yes. The 45-litre bag uses Oxford cloth and polyester fabric with a polyethylene board base. Detach from the machine, open the top, and tip the contents out. Shake to clear any remaining debris before reattaching.
