The Hyundai HY40CCS350 is a 40V cordless chainsaw with a 14" / 350mm bar, powered by two 20V lithium-ion batteries. The brushless motor drives the chain at up to 20 m/s, and the 200ml automatic oil system keeps the bar and chain lubricated throughout the cut without stopping to oil manually. An anti-kickback chain brake provides an additional layer of safety when working around the garden. No petrol, no fumes, and no cord — well suited to tree surgery and log cutting tasks in a domestic garden setting.
A 14" Bar for Cuts That Smaller Cordless Saws Can't Make
The 350mm / 14" bar handles branch diameters and log widths that a pruning saw or 6" compact chainsaw cannot manage cleanly. It is the right tool for taking down medium-sized branches, clearing sections of windfall, or cutting logs up to a manageable size for transport or splitting.

The 14" / 350mm bar can handle branch and log diameters up to approximately 250mm comfortably, up to 300mm maximum in a single pass. For larger sections, a second pass from the opposite side may be required.
Do I need to add oil to the chain before using it?
Yes — fill the 200ml oil tank with chainsaw bar and chain oil before first use and check the level before each session. Once running, the automatic oiling system distributes oil to the bar and chain continuously.
How does the anti-kickback brake work?
If the front guard contacts the operator's hand or wrist during a kickback event, the chain brake engages and stops the chain within milliseconds. Keep the front guard clear and always hold the saw firmly with both hands during cutting.
