An Affordable and Portable Petrol Generator

The Clarke IG1000 is a lightweight, low noise petrol generator with pure sine wave technology: ideal for providing a ready source of electrical power when camping, caravanning, or on similar holidays and adventures. Inverter generators such as this are extremely popular in the leisure market, and the low price makes it an ideal first petrol generator.

The pure sine wave technology ensures the delivery of clean and stable power - vital when running sensitive electronic equipment such computers and laptops. And, to add to its overall compact design, it's housed in a stylish case that reduces the nouse levels produced to an absolute minimum, ensuring this petrol generator won't disturb yourself or those around you.

Producing a maximum output of 1kW (1000w), this leisure generator produces more than enough power to keep modern luxuries powered wherever you go. When the "Eco Throttle" is engaged, the fuel consumption and noise is lowered even further, producing only the required amount of revs to match the load being asked of it.

Even without "Eco Throttle" engaged, this petrol generator is an economical machine, with the 2.7 litre fuel tank capacity producing between 3.6 and 8.3 hours of operation, depending on the load.

For users who are in the market for an affordable, high quality and portable petrol generator, the Clarke IG1000 is a fantastic buy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. is this generator a pure sine wave generator ?

A. It's actually a synthesized sinewave. It's listed as an inverter generator but it's important to know the difference between a pure sine wave inverter generator, and a generator that uses inverter technology. "Inverter Technology" can mean it is one of a variety of types of wave form. As it's not pure sine wave, it is not as smooth, and therefore not as safe for sensitive electronics as other inverters but it's still a decent output for general power.
