The Jasic Arc 400DV MMA welding inverter is equipped with the latest IGBT technology and a singlular PCB for improved efficiency and maintenance. This technologically advanced inverter is extremely user-friendly and offers reliable and consistant arc performance. An industrial weldeing set, rated up to 400A, it is one of the smallest units available, weighing in at only 31kg in weight - much smaller than most 400A welding sets. The size reduction means you don't need super-sized leads and a smaller, more portable unit will also reduce fatigue on the user.
This machine also has a 60% duty cycle on maximum amperage which means good economy, meaning you get a welder which is going to help your projects get done faster rather than just 'a machine'.
The stylish, ergonomic and robust case oozes quality with protective rubber oil finishing to the mouldings and handle. Equipped with IGBT Inverter technology, it is designed with the professional user in mind. As well as the IGBT Inverter technology, it has a singluar PCB for improved efficiency and maintenance. The technologically advanced inverter is extremely user-friendly and offers reliable and consistant arc performance. The Arc 200 also offers lift TIG functionality, making it an ideal choice for maintenance and light fabrication.
- Electrode polarity
In general when using manual arc welding electrodes the electrode holder is connected the the positive terminal and the work return to the negative terminal. Always consult the electrode manufacturer’s data sheet if you have any doubts. When using the machine for TIG welding the TIG torch should be connected to the negative terminal and the work return to the positive terminal
- MMA welding
Insert the cable plug with electrode holder into the “+” socket on the front panel of the welding machine, and tighten it clockwise. Insert the cable plug of the work return lead into the “-” socket on the front panel of the welding machine, and tighten it clockwise
- TIG Welding
Insert the cable plug with the work clamp into the “+” socket on the front panel of the welding machine, and tighten it clockwise. Insert the cables plug of the TIG torch into the “-” socket on the front panel of the machine and tighten clockwise. Connect the gas hose to the regulator / flowmeter located on the shield gas cylinder and connect the other end to the machine. Open the valve on the TIG torch and “scratch” the electrode on the work piece to start the arc.
There is no compromise on the quality of this equipment - such is Jasic's confidence in this technology Wilkinson Star offer an unparalleled 5 year warranty - the first of its kind in the welding industry. JASIC has a certified ISO 9001 quality management system and a product range that fully complies with CE, RoHS, C-TICK, CSA and CCC standard.
As this machine is intended for use at distance you may also like to add the option of a remote control which simply plugs into the front of the machine giving you control over the amperage up to 25m away. If you don't like cables getting in the way there is also a Bluetooth version.
