The Evopower EVO3000Ei is the electric / remote start version of the popular EVO3000i and the most powerful inverter generator in the Evopower range. Producing 2.8kW of energy, the EVO3000Ei is more than up to the task of powering your camping, caravan or motorhome trip.
The added electric / remote start options are a huge convenience for users who wish to easily start their generator with a key rather than the standard recoil start, and the remote option works from up to 20m away eliminating the need to be physically next to the generator to start it.
The impressive power that the EVO3000Ei produces is housed within a lightweight and compact package, making it incredibly easy to transport and store on any holiday or trip. Weighing just 32kg it’s easily carried by just one person and for added convenience this model also has a built-in wheel kit and extendable handle so the user can pull the machine behind them as if it were a suitcase.
The pure sine wave technology within the EVO3000Ei allows the safe use of sensitive electronic equipment without risk of damaging. This means you can safely connect your laptop, television, heater, chargers and similar technology to this generator.
Like all of the Evopower inverter generators, the EVO3000Ei has a very low noise output, rated at 58dB @ 7m. It’s possible to lower this noise output further when the user engages the “economy” mode, which lowers the revs of the engine to match only the load that is required at that time. This also improves fuel economy and increases the lifespan of the engine.
It comes with two 13A 3-pin 230v socket on the easy-to-use control panel, meaning you can plug in a fly lead or if you prefer, straight into the generator itself and it also has a 12v battery charging socket and is supplied with the 12v leads.
Designed for Leisure use. For heavy duty commercial use, we recommend a conventional 3000rpm petrol generator.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. EVO3000EI What is the weight of this generator please?
A. It's 32kg (dry)
Q. Is the remote start wireless or hard wired?
A. Wireless. A set of identical keyfobs are provided, and a double click on the ignition button within a suitable range of the generator (Up to 20m, but more commonly between a 10-15m radius) would start the generator. On all electric start models, the choke is automatic, which allows you to step away from the generator and start from distance.
Q. electric start works fine with the key but doesn't start with either of the keyfobs - although you can stop the engine with keyfobs. Any idea please?
A. The action for starting the generator is a 'double-click' motion. Please make sure you are double-clicking the ignition button to start generator remotely.
Q. How many hours can it run?
A. The longest we have had it running is 7 hours without stop, on low load. Typical run time is approx. 3 hours on half load, but can vary.
Q. is the starter battery charged while generator running. regards
A. Yes the EVO3000Ei's internal battery does self-prime when on. That way, if you store the unit for a few months, and find the battery drained on it, you can recoil start it and leave it running to recharge the battery, and the electric/remote start will be enabled again.
Q. What grade of oil do you use for this generator?
Q. My electric start on the generator doesn't work. or on the keyfobs The generator works fine on the recoil. Any ideas?
A. The internal battery for the generator isn't connected for transit. The reason for this is that the battery will start to trickle drain when connected, so in order to get the best out of the battery, the clips on the battery are not connected. It is a very simple job to connect the clips and the battery housing is extremely accessible. Unfortunately, we have noticed that it doesn't mention this in the manual and are working with the manufacturers to get this rectified.
